New: custom rig uploads

Your character.
The motion you describe.

Bring your own rigged humanoid into 3dAIAnimation. Upload your rig, choose it for an animation and tell us how you want it to move. Your prompt directs the performance on your character.

  • Upload a rigged humanoid Blender file.
  • Select your character when creating an animation.
  • Describe the movement and download the result.

Start with your own humanoid rig or use the built-in Rigify metarig. Animation results depend on the rig and the movement requested.

An example workflow

  1. 01 / Your character

    your-character.blend

A rigged humanoid, ready to animate.

  2. 02 / Your direction

“Take two slow steps forward, turn to the left, lower into a bow and rise with both arms extended.”

  3. 03 / Your animation

    Generated on your character

Capabilities

What it does today

Bring a character, describe a performance and explore the result.

Text to animation

Describe a movement or a sequence of actions in plain language. Add the direction, timing and poses that matter to your performance.

Upload your own rig

Upload your rigged humanoid and select it for an animation. Your character performs the movement you describe in your prompt.

Download and keep creating

Export in Blender, FBX or glTF/GLB formats and continue working in your animation tools.

AI reasoning and motion controls

AI interprets your direction, then mathematical animation controls build the poses and movement on your character's rig.

Free to try

Every new account gets 5 free animations. Subscribe for animations up to 60 seconds, as many as your tokens cover.

Feedback-driven

We're actively gathering feedback to shape what gets built next. Your input directly influences the roadmap.

Our approach

AI reasoning meets
mathematical animation.

A movement can be more specific than a walk or a jump. Your prompt can describe an entire performance: the order of actions, a change of direction, a pause or the pose you want to finish in.

3dAIAnimation uses AI reasoning to turn that direction into a movement plan. Our custom animation system then uses mathematical controls to construct poses, rotations and keyframes on your character. We keep developing the system to follow detailed prompts more faithfully across a wider range of humanoid motion.

  1. Interpret the direction

Your words describe what should happen and how the performance should unfold.

  2. Construct the movement

Mathematical rig controls turn movement instructions into character poses and animation.

  3. Explore a performance

Describe unusual combinations, dance or acrobatic-style sequences, then explore the result on your character.

Process

How it works

From your character and a written idea to a downloadable animation.

  1. 01

    Choose your character

Upload your own humanoid rig, choose a rig you have already uploaded or start with the built-in metarig.

  2. 02

    Describe the motion

Write the actions in order. Include direction, pacing and any poses that matter to the performance.

  3. 03

    Generate and download

3dAIAnimation generates movement for your selected character. Download the result in your chosen format and continue creating.

Use cases

Who it's for

Good for prototyping, learning and experimentation.

Game development

Explore movement for your game characters and generate animation to develop further in your production workflow.

Film & animation

Try character performances, poses and sequences for animation projects and previsualisation.

Virtual production

Develop humanoid movement for virtual scenes and explore different performances on your own rigged characters.

How tokens work

An animation typically costs 10 tokens per second of animation. Tokens you don't use stay in your balance, even if you cancel, and keep working, with animations up to 60 seconds, until they run out. If an animation fails, its tokens come back to you.

FAQ

Questions, answered

What kind of character can I animate?
A rigged humanoid character saved as a Blender (.blend) file, up to 100 MiB. You can keep up to 10 rigs in your account and reuse them in any animation, or start with the built-in Rigify metarig skeleton. Results depend on the rig and on the movement you ask for.
How do I write a good prompt?
Describe the actions in the order they should happen, then add the details that matter: direction, pacing, pauses and the pose you want to finish in. For example: “Take two slow steps forward, turn to the left, lower into a bow and rise with both arms extended.” Read more on our blog.
How long can an animation be?
Up to 30 seconds on the free plan, or up to 60 seconds with a subscription. You choose the length when you create an animation.
Which file formats can I download?
Blender (.blend), FBX, glTF and GLB, so you can keep working in your animation tools.
Where do I find my animations?
Every animation you create appears on your dashboard with its current status. Once it has completed, you can download it from there.
Can I animate more than one character at a time?
Not yet. The current focus is animation for a single humanoid character.
How much does it cost?
It's free to try: every new account gets 5 free animations, up to 30 seconds each. Subscribers get a monthly token allowance instead, and an animation typically costs 10 tokens per second, so a 10-second animation uses 100 tokens. See pricing.
